Very slow completion and code allocation in Qt Creator

I have Qt Creator 4.1.0 ubuntu 16.04. And I have problems with code completion and highlighting. I need to wait 3-4 seconds (or more) for the completion code and highlight the keywords. What's wrong? Qt Creator 3.6.0 is working fine.

I can confirm that I am observing the same issue in Windows 7 after upgrading from 3.6 to 4.1. I used to be able to enter full function signatures and no longer works, which is annoying. I have not tried 4.2RC yet to see if this is fixed, but I will update this message as soon as I do it.
