Move the iOS application group to another developer account

Recently, I changed my developer account from company to individual. I have successfully transferred my applications except for application groups.

In any case, I do not see the transfer of existing application groups, and my thoughts are that if I create a new application group, existing users will:

  • Unable to update
  • If they can upgrade, their existing data will be lost.

Unfortunately, none of these situations look good.

Therefore, in terms of TL; DR:

  • How to transfer application groups between developer accounts?

So, I just talked with Apple on the phone - they were great at helping out, and we found a solution.

Suppose account A is the old account and B is the new account for which you want to transfer the application group.

Just delete the application group from account A and recreate it in account B with the same identifier. Problem solved: D Thanks Apple!
